I was just doing some light reading when I came across this post detailing the top keywords in the google adwords system. (We have google adwords advertising in the right hand column here on our website). I’m not sure how they figure this out, but apparently these key words and phrases are so highly sought after that advertisers pay very high amounts for clicks generated from them. To give you an idea, here’s the top 10;

school loan consolidation $69.16
college loan consolidation $68.35
car insurance quotes $66.88
school consolidation $66.29
auto insurance quotes $65.90
college consolidation $64.04
student loan consolidation rates $60.14
sell structured settlement $59.82
sell annuity $58.92
federal student loan consolidation $58.58

Interestingly, I’d say those are $US too. That means if you get an ad on your website based on those keywords, and someone clicks on it, you could earn yourself almost $100 with one click!
