Shift Computer Solutions is providing its large customer base with a range of desktop support services as well as small business servers and support. We are here to give our clients excellence in service that goes beyond their expectations.
You will be assisting customers with the latest IT and business equipment including computers, servers, printers, peripherals, PDA’s, Networking hardware.
We offer you the opportunity to independently work to further both your and our goals, while still being part of a tight knit team working together to achieve our objectives.
To get this job, you’ll need;
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a desktop support experience;
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills;
- Great technical trouble-shooting skills, both hardware and software and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (XP), Dial-up, ADSL and network connectivity, installing and repairing various hardware and software;
- Knowledge of wifi, routers and other common networking and internet systems.
- Spyware / Anti Virus knowledge, although we are the masters of spyware removal and will train you to be one too!
- Ability to communicate technical language into laymen’s terms;
Passion for always exceeding the customer’s expectations; - Collaborative behaviour and contribute to building an environment of knowledge sharing & respect;
- You must hold a valid, unrestricted Class C drivers licence;
